Marc R. Lubkeman has over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1984 with Edward Jones Investments. He changed investment firms in 1989 to Northern Trust Securities in Chicago and served as their Investment Center Manager. In 1991, Marc returned to Edward Jones and assumed operations of the Antioch, IL branch. In 2001, he moved his practice to Wachovia Securities, predecessor to Wells Fargo Advisors, so that he could provide high-quality, personalized financial advice to individuals.
Marc earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation in 1994. To earn the CFP® designation, Marc had to complete an approved education program, pass a rigorous examination and meet stringent experience requirements. Marc also adheres to a professional Code of Ethics and fulfills annual continuing educational requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends. Marc complemented the CFP® certification in 2006 by earning his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®) designation from the College for Financial Planning.
Marc has received firm-wide recognition as a Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council annually from 2006-2022. The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production based on either of the past two years, and professionalism. Additional criteria, including length of service, may also be used to determine recipients. Additionally, Marc was named by Forbes as one of the Best-in-State Wealth Advisors, ranked No. 124 in Illinois excluding Chicago for 2022.*
Marc is a resident of his hometown, Antioch, IL. He and his wife, Nancy, enjoy the lifestyle afforded by Antioch’s country location and proximity to the Chicago and Milwaukee metropolitan areas. In his spare time, he enjoys traditional outdoor sports. He is a member of the “Des Plaines Wetlands Conservancy” and the “Halter Wildlife Inc.” in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Marc also enjoys cooking and entertaining family and friends. Year round you can find him and his family enjoying the Fox Waterway on the Chain of Lakes. Marc is an active member and former President of the Antioch Rotary Club. He also served on Antioch’s Downtown Redevelopment Board, is a former member of the Antioch Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Antioch Downtown Economic Development Task Force.
